Great Lakes Carbon Treatment, Inc. (GLCT) is a Michigan based corporation established in January of 1990 that provides a full range of equipment and services tailored to both environmental and industrial concerns. Since its inception, GLCT has built a positive reputation by providing its clients with the finest in equipment and service. GLCT has engineered, designed, and built some
of the most effective and technologically advanced remediation systems available. Diversity is also a strong point with GLCT. Our capabilities include, but are not limited, to just treatment systems.
Our diversity has allowed GLCT to build a broad base clientele of repeat customers throughout the continental United States, including: facility decontamination, groundwater filtration, industrial
wastewater treatment, bioremediation, soils remediation, environmental contracting and construction, and UST/AST removals and replacements,

The GLCT personnel have education and expertise in Environmental Science, Business Management, Construction Engineering, Design Engineering, Civil Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Industrial and Environmental Management, Drafting, Civil Engineering, Ecology, Biology, and Chemistry.

GLCT's field teams are fully trained and have received Hazardous Material Training OSHA 1910.120, complete with all eight (8) hour refresher courses. GLCT has and follows a strict health and safety manual. GLCT is fully insured, and uses only fully insured, licensed, and permitted transporters.

All goods and services provided by GLCT are provided in accordance with all local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations.

Pre-built treatment package systems are a specialty of GLCT. When systems are built in our facility, it allows for complete quality control and results in reduced cost for on-site setup. GLCT has completed systems in dollar value from $750.00 to over $1,000,000.00, comprising a vast array of technologies for both consulting and private industries.

GLCT also exhibits strength with our on-site building capabilities. One of our largest projects to date being for the State of Michigan. With only 59 days to complete, and costs of over 1.2 million dollars, GLCT performed to meet the time lines as required by the State. We have also managed this site for the past three years and have a 90 percent run time.

 

GLCT also installs all associated piping and well controls, with heat fusing capabilities for HDPE pipe up to 12 inches. With a trained and motivated crew, GLCT can meet all of your site construction needs.

Great Lakes Carbon Treatment, Inc. has been continuously diversifying during the past fifteen years that we have been in business. In order to keep up with technology and demand we have built upon our education and experience. We continue to expand our capabilities from environmental remediation equipment and services, to include rentals, operations and maintenance, and construction capabilities. The GLCT construction crews, along with our engineering and technical personnel, have the ability to design, construct, install, operate and service virtually any environmental remediation program or system that our customers may request. Our construction teams have worked with the State of Michigan, engineering firms, consultants and private interests, installing a variety of systems and projects. We have also installed hundreds of our own systems throughout North and South America.
